Hi, good to meet you!

My name is Anouk, a 26-year young online content marketer and foodie by heart. I’m a dreamer by day and night and always on the search for lovely hidden gems far away and nearby. I love to spend my time with loved ones, reading, writing, drinking tea on a rainy afternoon or sipping from a glass of wine under a clear blue sky. I love to dance under the Italian sun, the country where my love for traveling and food started back in the days when I was 18 years old.

I LOVE to eat and everything that has something to do with food. It’s not bizarre how I got my love for food; my family raised me as a foodie. I didn’t get the love for a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass wine in the late afternoon from strangers – It would be odd if I didn’t do it. I love cooking and spending day after day in the kitchen to prepare a lovely dish for my beloved ones.

As a 4-year old girl I would run around chasing animals in my village wearing a hat that was way to big for my head. I wanted to pick flowers to put in my hair and instead I gave them to the chickens to eat. The world has been a paradise for me since I was little. Wherever my mom and dad took me, I could find my own pad to walk around. I’ve lived abroad twice. The first time was in Venice (2009), where I’ve lost my heart to Italy. Where I promised myself that I had to do this over again, no matter where life would take me. So I did. In the summer of 2014 I took an English course in New York and stayed there for a couple of weeks.
